Indications from the land of Sri Jagannath, Pronouncing end of The Kali Yuga.
The great Sages, Pancha Sakha had composed Bhavishya Malika as instructed by the formless Lord Jagannath. Bhavishya Malika principally mentions in great detail the social, physical and geographical changes that will indicate the end of Kali Yuga (current dark age). According to scriptures, the land of Lord Jagannath is considered as Vaikuntha (abode of Lord MahaVishnu) on Earth (Martya Vaikuntha) .
Once 5000 years of Kali Yug have passed, as per Lord’s wishes, there will be portents that will be heard of from Neelanchal kshetra which will remove all doubts from the mind of devotees that the end of this epoch is near, and that Lord’s incarnation has taken birth on the Earth. By following the said signs at the end of the age of Kaliyuga, the incarnation of Lord Kalki will be fully known. The following prose from Bhavisya Mallika, elucidates the above facts :
“दिव्य सिंह अंके बाबू सरब देखिबु,
छाड़ि चका गलु बोली निश्चय जाणिबू
नर बालुत रुपरे आम्भे जनमिबू“
(Gupt gyan-Achyutanad das)
Sage Achyutanand ji, in this verse, talks about Divya Singh Dev IV, current titular Gajapati Maharaja and the King of Puri. As per tradition set by King Indrayumna, different Kings of Puri at different times, have been in-charge of Sri Jagannath Kshetra(area). The Gajapati Maharaja Divya Sing Dev IV, is the current Adhyasevaka (Sevaka Raja-first & foremost servitor) of Lord Jagannath. It is written in Bhavisya Mallika, that when Divya Singh Dev will reign as King of Puri, 5000 years of KaliYuga would have passed.
Great sage Achyutanand Das revealed that Divya Singh Dev IV will reign in Puri, at the end of age of KaliYuga. During the time of his reign, Lord Jagannath will incarnate in his Kalki Avataar. He will take human form and be born to re-establish Dharma (righteousness)
Mahapurush Achyutananda explained in his Ashta Gujari:-
“पूर्व भानु अबा पश्चिमें जिब अच्युत बचन आन नोहिब ।
पर्वत शिखरे फुटिब कईं अच्युत बचन मिथ्या नुंहइ।
ठु ल सुन्यकु मु करिण आस ठिके भणिले श्री अच्युत दास “
This means, Mahapurush Achyutanand ji proclaims the purity and truthfulness of Malika with thunderous voice to infuse devotion and faith in the hearts of the devotees, saying that the sun may rise in the west, and the lotus may bloom on the top of the mountain. But the speech or words written by him will never be proved wrong.
“दिव्य केशरी राजा होइब तेबे कलियुग सरिब
चतुर्थ दिब्य सिंह थिब से काले कलियुग थिब“
This means, Mahapurush Achyutananda has written in the above line that when the fourth ‘Divya Singh Dev’ will be the king in Sri Kshetra, then Satya Yuga will start before Kali Yuga, but the effect of Satya Yuga will not be there. Once again Mahatma Achyutananda supported this in Bajra Kantha and the great Jagannath Das Ji, who had incarnated from the laughter of Maa Radharani (another Panchasakhas) also stated in Bajra Kantha:
“पुरुषोत्तम देब राजान्क ठारु, उनबीन्स राजा हेबे सेठारु,
उनबीन्स राजा परे राजा नांहि आउ, अकुली होइबे कुलकु बोहु “।
In the above lines, Mahapurush Shri Jagannath Das ji has written that the first king of this Jagannath region will be Shri Purushottam Dev. Firstly, 19 kings including King Shri Purushottamdev would be responsible for the governance of the temple. Presently Malika’s words have proved to be true and Shri Divya Singh Deo is performing the responsibility as the 19th king and at the same time Mahapurush Jagannath Das has written that the 19th king is Shri Divya Singh Deo and he has no son. Today the devotees of the Lord are getting the evidence by obeying the words of Malika. After 600 years what Mahapurush wrote has become a reality. Hence Kaliyuga is over and the work of establishing Dharma is going on.
Mahapurush Achyutananda has composed in Bhavishya Malika:
“चुलरु पथर जेबे ख़सिब सूत,
ख़सिले अंला बेढ़ा रु हेब ए कलि हत।”
Again focusing on the area of Jagannath, the Bhavishya Malika Granth is composed by Mahapurush Achyutananda Das Ji to inform the devotees that when the stone falls from the main temple of Shri Jagannath Dham we will know that Kali Yuga has come to an end, and these words of the great man also proved to be true. The other day on 16.6.1990 a stone fell from Amla Bedha of Shree Mandir and a committee was constituted by the Central Budget Department to investigate it, but till now the scientists could not know from where such a huge stone (more than 1 ton) came from, and how did it fall? This has been a surprising phenomenon for scientists. The words of all the Mahatma’s and Rishis have proved to be true, and to warn the devotees, the proof of the end of Kali Yuga can already be seen by the falling of stones from Amla Bedha.
Mahapurush Achyutananda mentions in his Bhavishya Malika Granth Garuda Samvad that one day Vinata Nandan Garuda, the chief devotee of the Lord asked Mahaprabhu that “Lord, you have incarnated in all the four yugas and at the end of Kaliyuga you will incarnate as Kalki. Which will be the union of the devotees and God of the four ages. When you leave Nilachal, become Sakar Brahma from Daru Brahma, what signs will the devotees see from the mortal Vaikuntha, which will make the devotees believe that the time has come for your Kalki Avatar and follow the Malika and get your blessings?”
Mahapurush Achyutananda has written in Bhavishya Malika:
“बड़ देउल कु आपणे जेबे तेज्या करिबे,
कि कि संकेत देखिले मने प्रत्ये होइबे ।“
The meaning of the above lines is that when the Lord leaves Nilanchal, the devotees will get a sign that they will believe only after seeing it. Then Lord Shri Krishna is saying:
“गरुड़ मुखकु चाँहिण कहुचंति अच्युत,
क्षेत्र रे रहिबे अनंत बिमला लोकनाथ।”
In these lines the Lord is saying to Garuda “When I leave Nilanchal, then my elder brother Balarama will take charge of Nilanchal region and become the Kshetradhishvara of Nilanchal region, Shaktiswarupini Maa Vimala and Loknath Mahaprabhu will be in that region at that time, but I will incarnate in human form.”
Then Garuda asked what would be the first sign that the devotee would get by reading Malika and understand that you have left Neelachal? Again Mahapurush Achyutananda has described:
“देउल रु चुन छाड़िब, चक्र बक्र होइब,
माहालिआ होइ भारत अंक कटाउ थिब।“
The meaning of the above lines is this: When something comes out of the lime coating of the main temple of Shri Jagannath, then the Neelchakra of Shri Jagannath will become slightly crooked and the economic condition of India will not be good at that time.
It is known from the above line: When lime came from Jagannath temple, the prime minister of that time was Dr. Chandrashekhar and by pledging 3000 tons of gold, India met the shortage of money and after that India improved its economic condition, by implementing hedge economy. The above line of Malika proves that what Mahapurush Achyutanand ji had said 600 years ago that when the lime will come from the Jagannath temple then India’s economic condition will not be good and that has been proved today. Mahaprabhu Shri Krishna explains about the second sign:
“बड़ देउल रु पथर जेबे ख़सिब पुण,
गृध्र पक्षी जे बसिब अरुण र स्तम्भेण।“
The meaning of these lines is that when a stone will fall from Amla Bedha, then an eagle or a vulture will sit on the Arun pillar (Arun Stambh). From this we can understand that when the stone fell from Amla Bedha, at that time the vulture bird was also sitting on the Arun pillar.
It has also been proved in the writings of Malika that according to our classical tradition (shashtriya dhara), if a vulture bird sits on the house, then it is considered bad for the people living in that house. Similarly, the sight of a vulture bird sitting on the Arun pillar of Shri Jagannath temple is a sign of great danger for the entire mankind. This is considered the first sign of the end of Kaliyuga and the establishment of Dharma. Then Mahapurush Achyutananda consoled the devotee Shiromani Garuda:-
“एही संकेत कु जानिथा हेतु मति की नेई,
तोर मोर भेट होइब मध्य स्थल रे जाई।”
The meaning of the above verse is- Garuda asks “Lord, when you descend as Kalki, where can I meet you”? How else shall I receive your darshan and dedicate myself to your service”?
Mahaprabhu replied: “Garuda, I will meet you where there is the auspicious pillar of Brahma, which is believed to be the Sun Pillar of the Earth and which is called Birja Kshetra or Gupta Sambal.” That is called the center. Mahapurush Achyutanand ji has mentioned about the end of Kali Yuga in HariArjun Chautisa and other signs found in the Shri Mandir about the birth of Lord Kalki.
“नीलाचल छाड़ि आम्भे जिबु जेतेबेले लागिब रत्न चांदुआ अग्नि सेते बेले
निशा काले मन्दिररु चोरी हेब हेले, बड़ देऊलुमोहर ख़सिब पत्थर,
बसिब जे गृध्र पक्षी अरुण स्तम्भर।बतास रे बक्र हेब नीलचक्र मोर।”
The meaning of the above lines is that Mahapurush Achyutanand ji is proving this clearly – God says that “If I leave Nilachal, the bejeweled canopy above my bejeweled throne will first catch fire, and half of the premises of my Shri Mandir will catch fire.” There will be theft in the night. Stones will fall from the giants. Neelchakra will turn crooked due to Batas (storm). The vulture bird will sit on my Arun Stambh.” All these things have happened in Shri Jagannath Kshetra of Shrimandir and Malika’s words have proved to be completely true. From this, information about the downfall of Kali Yuga has also been received. Then in the second chapter of Kaliyuga Gita, Mahapurush Achyutananda gives information about special signs from the realm of Shri Jagannath.
“मुंहि नीलाचल छाड़ि जिबि हो अर्जुन, मोहर भंडार घरे थिब जेते धन।
तांहिरे कलंकी लागि जिब क्षय होइ, मोहर सेवक माने बाटरे न थाई“।
Meaning of the above line:-
Arjuna asked Lord Krishna, “If you leave Nilanchal, what signs will be visible from Srikshetra, please tell me about it”. Lord Krishna replied, “Arjuna, when I leave Nilanchal, the storehouse located in the premises of my temple will no longer be famous, which means that the treasury i.e. the wealth of the storehouse will be destroyed, and Dharma will not be followed.” The store house will again be empty of money. As Achyutananda describes in the second chapter of the Kaliyuga Gita:
The meaning of this line is: “When I leave Nilanchal, then Kaliyuga will end. As soon as I leave Srikshetra, there will be a lot of injustice in my area. The head servant will not even be able to maintain himself properly. Many such changes will take place in Shri Mandir. Mahapurush Achyutananda mentions another sign from the Jagannath region in the Malika:
“पेजनला फुटी तोर पडिब बिजुली,
से जुगे जिब की प्रभु नीलांचल छाड़ि ।“
The meaning of the above lines is: When lightning strikes Jagannath’s kitchen, then the Kali Yuga will end and Shri Jagannath will leave Nilanchal and incarnate in human form. In the past, Jagannath’s kitchen was struck by lightning and its proof has already been given. From this it can be assumed that Shri Jagannath ji has incarnated in the human body leaving Nilanchal.
Again Mahapurush Achyutananda describes another sign from the Jagannath region in the Granth Chaushathi Patal, giving evidence of the glory of Shri Kalpavat and the decay of Shri Kalpavat, the end of Kali Yuga and Lord Shri Jagannath incarnating in human body leaving Nilanchal.
“से बट मुलरे अर्जुन जेहु बसिब दंडे, मृत्यु समये न पड़िब यम राजर दंडे ।
से बट मोहर बिग्रह जंहु हेले आघात, मोते बड़ बाधा लागई सुण मघबासूत।
से बट रु खंडे बकल जेहु देब छड़ाई, मोहर चर्म छडाइला परि ज्ञांत हुअइ।“
Meaning of these lines: Kalpavat inside the Shri temple is like the Deity of God. Kalpavat has been compared to the body of God. If even a small piece is broken from Kalpavat, then the body of God suffers a lot. Therefore, today it is a matter of consideration that the branch of Kalpavat is breaking again and again, it means that according to the writings of Mahapurush, if the branch of Kalpavat breaks, then God will take the human form leaving Nilanchal and Mahapurush Achyutananda has written on this topic. It is described that:-
“कल्प्बट घात हेब जेतेबेले नीलाचल छाड़ि जिबे मदन गोपाले।
कल्प्बट शाखा छिड़ि पड़िब से काले, नाना अकर्म मान हेब क्षेत्रबरे।
रूद्र ठारु उनविंश पर्यन्त सेठारे, स्थापना होइबे मोर सेवादी भाबरे।
बड़ देउलरे मुंही नरहिबी बीर, बाहार होइबि देखि नर अत्याचार।”
Meaning: Mahapurush Achyutanand ji has mentioned in the above lines that when the Kalpavat branch breaks, a lot of injustice, immorality, indiscipline and anarchy will spread in. Between 11 and 19 years of Lord Kalki’s age, new servants will be hired by the government to take care of the Srimandir. At this time Lord Shri Jagannath will leave the temple and incarnate in the human body after seeing the atrocities of humans. Malika’s words have come true today. Again Mahatma Achyutananda describes this situation that: –
“बड़ देऊलु मोहर पत्थर ख़सिब, गृध्र पक्षी नील चक्र उपरे बसिब।
दिने दिने चलुरे मु न होइबि दृश्य, भोग सबु पोता हेब जान पाण्डु शिष्य।
समुद्र जुआर माड़ि आसीब निकटे, रक्ष्या नकरिबे केहि प्राणींकु संकटे।“
Mahapurush then explained that when the vulture birds sit on the Neelchakra, stones repeatedly fall from the Sri temple of Sri Jagannath. At that time Mahaprabhu Jagannath will not give darshan in the offering of Mahaprasad. Many times, Mahaprasad will be buried under the soil. This can be gauged from the fact that according to the temple tradition of Shri Jagannath ji, when Mahaprasad is offered to Lord Jagannath, Shri Jagannath ji gives darshan to the chief priest who offers Mahaprasad. But according to the warning of Mahapurush Achyutananda, when the vulture bird or the eagle bird sits on the Neelachakra, at that time the stone will fall from the Shri Mandir of the Lord and Jagannath Mahaprabhu will not appear in the ritual of Mahaprasad Arpan. And at this time Mahaprabhu’s Mahaprasad will be buried in the soil. Then, Mahapurush Achyutananda mentioned this as a warning that at this time, the sea would rise very high from the land and flood the earth. Which is visible on the earth today. And this sign has been found in the Jagannath region, and after that great destruction is going to come. That’s why he being a great person has inspired (motivated) the people to change. Mahapurush has again described in this context: –
“श्री धामरु एक बड़ पाषाण ख़सिब, दिबसरे उल्लूक तार उपरे बसिब।
मो भुबने उल्कापात हेब घन घन, जेउ सबु अटे बाबू अमंगल चिन्ह।”
Mahapurush said that a huge stone would fall from the main temple of Shri Jagannath and an owl would sit on the stone during daytime and both these signs have already happened in the temple. And in the Shri Jagannath Kshetra, meteorites will fall again and again in the future, as we come to know from the many texts composed by Mahapurush.
“Jai Jagannath”
