Some golden words from Bhavishya Malika written by the great sage Shri Achyutananda Das ji and Shri Jagannath Das ji –
In Bhavishya Malika’s “Sri Krishna Garuda Samvad” Lord says – “There will be signs appearing from the holy land of Jagannathpuri (Sri Kshetra) to make my devotees believe that I have incarnated in human form in Kaliyuga and only true devotees of mine will understand these signs”. Garuda asks the Lord that O Supreme Lord of the Universe! Please tell me what signs will we be able to see that will make me and your devotees believe that you (Lord) have incarnated in human form?
To this question God answers-
”समुद्र रूबातासोजे उठिन आसीब।
कल्पवट डाल मोर भांगीब पोकाइब।।“
{Samudra Rubatasoje Uthin Aasib
Kalpavat Daal Mor Bhangib Pokaib}
At the time of Brahma Pralaya (disastrous destruction), the branch of the Kalpavat (a wish fulfilling divine tree) in which the Lord rests in the form of a child, will break due to the sea storm.
”अउ बतासरे चक्र वक्र हेबो निलचक्र मोरो।“
{Aau Batasare Chakra Vakra Hebo Nilchakra Moro}
A destructive storm arising from a sea will completely damage or bend the Nil Chakra (the metal wheel at the top of Lord Jagannath temple is known as Nil Chakra) on top of the Jagannathpuri’s temple (This was seen in 2019’s severe cyclone that arose in Bay of Bengal and damaged the Jagannath temple, which was even confirmed by the government of Orissa on the second day of cyclone. This news was covered even by the local channels and newspapers of Orissa).
Then God says to the devotee Garuda, “Listen carefully Garuda, many more signs from the land of Jagannath Puri (Sri Kshetra) will continue to come one after the other”.
“देउल रचुन छाड़ीब चक्र वक्र होइब।
मालिहा होइब भारत अंक काटाउथिब।।“
{Deul Rachun Chadib Chakra Vakra Hoib
Maliha Hoib Bharat Ank Katauthib}
While answering the question asked by Garuda, Lord further says that-
From my Sri Mandir(Jagannath temple), the Archaeological Department of Kaliyuga’s governance system will remove the thick coat of Lime that was applied to protect the temple from the sea’s salty winds that causes decay to temple structure and loosening of stones. (This work of removing the Lime layer from the temple was done by the Archaeological Department immediately after 1985).
