Below are some verses and facts from Malika written by the great sage Achyatanand Das ji-
“सियालदहरे पाती रेल पिन्धीन लोहार सरंखल
रहिची सही बंदी घरे
मुक्ति लागिबे जग्य स्थले।”
“siyāladahare pātī rela pindhīna lohāra saraṃkhala
rahicī sahī baṃdī ghare
mukti lāgibe jagya sthale|”
The above verse means-
At the beginning of the war between thirteen Muslim countries and India, a mahayagya (homa) will take place in Sealdah in the West Bengal state of India. All the eight thousand devotees of sixteen mandalas of Lord Kalki will participate in the Mahayagya. A surprising event will happen at the same time. A brass locomotive built during British rule has been kept in Sealdah in a museum by tying it to an iron chain. The iron chain will get broken, and the engine will start moving on its own without any driver on the will of Lord Kalki to bring Jagannath ji. The brass engine will be freed during the rituals of the same Mahayagya in Sealdah.
Great sage writes again as follows…
“भक्तंकर कुरिबे कातर स्मरिबे कल्कि मनन्तर तेनुकर सेही समय समस्त भक्त।”
“bhaktaṃkara kuribe kātara smaribe kalki manantara tenukara sehī samaya samasta bhakta|”
This means-
Eight thousand devotees of all sixteen mandals would be singing Lord Kalki’s bhajans (devotional songs) with full devotion by surrendering themselves to the God at yagna place in Sealdah.
Great sage writes about the attack of Yavanas (Muslims) on the land of Sri Jagannath Ji (Srikshetra)….
“बहिव तहि रक्त धारा खेत्रे कंपिबे चक्रधर,
संघार करता सदाशिव श्रीखेत्रे मिलिथिब आगो,
सेस्थाने तुम्भे गुप्तेथिब मोहि तेहि हेबि अविर्भाब,
एहि समय पाती रेल श्रीखेत्रे मिलिबे चंचल।”
“bahiva tahi rakta dhārā khetre kaṃpibe cakradhara,
saṃghāra karatā sadāśiva śrīkhetre milithiba āgo,
sesthāne tumbhe guptethiba mohi tehi hebi avirbhāba,
ehi samaya pātī rela śrīkhetre milibe caṃcala|”
The meaning of the above verse is-
The foreign armies will attack Shri Jagannath Temple (Srikshetra) after the Mahayagna of Sealdah. There will be a terrible bloodshed in the temple premises. Countless people will die. Jagannathji’s temple will tremble with the sound of war. Lord Shiva and Goddess Bhavani will come to know about the attack of enemies on Jagannath Puri temple. Umapati Mahadev sitting in meditation will come to know that there has been a disaster in Sri Jagannath temple, and he will leave Kailash (place where he resides) to reach Jagannath Puri.
Lord Kalki will also appear in Shri Jagannath temple at the same time. There will be a very terrible situation when the Yavan (Muslim) army will enter the temple. There will be a fierce battle between the Indian army and the Yavan army. Lord Kalki and Sadashiv(Lord Shiva) will come to protect the Jagannath temple and Orissa. The iron chain of the brass locomotive will get broken, and the engine will start moving towards Jagannath Puri from Sealdah to bring Jagannath ji ( Lord Kalki) without any driver. In the past, there was no railway line from Sealdah to Jagannath Puri. By the grace of Lord Jagannath ji, a railway line has been built from Sealdah to Puri within the last few years. The brass engine will stop directly at Jagannath Puri.
maṃdire pasibe jhasāī paṃḍānaku hāṇī debe seī|
This means-
Innumerable Muslim armies will enter the Jagannath temple and they will have a fierce war with the sevaks (volunteers responsible for performing or assisting in the daily rituals of worship)of Jagannath ji. Many people will be killed. The army of the Muslim country will remain inside the temple and after seven days the Indian Army will free the temple from the possession of the Yavanas.
deule nīti baṃda hebo bimalā ākhi tarāṭība|
This means-
Lord Jagannath ji eats sathiyepothi cuisine in Puri. The Lord enjoys dry prasad (food offered to the God) in all other temples apart from Puri temple. Only in Jagannath Puri the Lord enjoys the sathiyepothi dish.
It is mentioned in bhavishya malika that Jagannathji takes a bath in Prayag every day. In Badridham, the Lord adorns, takes prasad in Jagannath Puri and after that the Lord goes to a secret place and reviews the status of the whole universe. After that, the Lord goes to Dwarkadhish and rests there. The Lord performs Raslila (Dance of Divine Love) every night with the Gopis at Vrindavan. This is Jagatpati’s (Lord of the Universe’s) daily routine.
The regular worship of Lord Jagannath will stop when the brass engine reaches Jagannath Puri. In Puri, resides Goddess Bimla (Durga) Devi who is the presiding deity within the Jagannath temple. She is also worshiped equally with Jagannathji. She will be watching all the events silently and she will understand that all this is happening due to reinstatement of Dharma (Righteousness) by Lord Kalkiram. This is the time for Lord’s establishment of dharma and Shri Jagannath ji is going to leave the temple and go to Chhatia Vat.
“गरुड़ आदि बिराजेते चाहिँना थिबे आज्ञामात्रे,
दखिण द्वारे हनुवीर मोडुमथिब भुजतार,
बोधिबे तार चक्रधर मर्त्यबैकुंठ हुए सार।”
“garuḍa ādi birājete cāhiṁnā thibe ājñāmātre,
dakhiṇa dvāre hanuvīra moḍumathiba bhujatāra,
bodhibe tāra cakradhara martyabaikuṃṭha hue sāra|”
The above verse means-
Highly devoted devotee Garuda and other brave devotees will be patiently waiting for Lord’s permission thinking of destroying the Yavana military in an instant as soon as Lord instructs. They will even be capable of doing so, but still they will not do anything without God’s permission. Hanumanji (Bedi Hanuman or the chained Hanumanji) present at the south gate of the temple, will appear and roar fiercely.
Lord Jagannath, seeing his devotees seeking permission to fight, will say, “In Kaliyuga, I was present in the form of Darubrahma(the supreme divine residing in the idol made of wood), and also in the Buddha Avatar (form). I will see everything yet remain silent. This (temple) is Martya Baikuntha (earth’s divine abode of Lord Vishnu, where Lord himself resides ), so battle should not take place. I have incarnated in human form as ‘Kalki’ and Kalki will only fight. Therefore Hanuman, Garuda and all my beloved devotees, please wait, this is not the place of war.”
