Few verses and facts written in the Mahabharata about the birth and birthplace of Lord Kalki by great sage Vyas ji-
“संभल ग्राम मुख्यष्य
ब्राह्मणस्यो महात्मन,
भवने विष्णु यशस्य
कल्कि प्रादुर्भाविष्यति।“
“Sambhal Gram Mukhyashya
Bhramanasyo Mahatman,
Bhavne Vishnu Yashsya
Kalki Pradurbhavishyati”
Meaning:-
Lord Kalki will incarnate in a spiritual family of a prominent Brahmin of Sambal village, who always sings the praises of Lord Vishnu.
At present, there is a conflict in everyone’s mind that Lord Kalki will be born in the family of a Brahmin named Vishnuyasha, but this is not so. We all need to truly understand the wisdom written in the scriptures, by understanding the scriptures well and then all the answers to the questions can be found and one can attain Bhakti (devotion), Pavitrata (Purity) and become one with the Divine itself.
“कल्कि विष्णुयशा नाम
द्विज काल प्रचोदीत ,
उत्पत्येसो महा बिरजो
महा बुद्धि पराक्रम।“
“Kalki Vishnuyasha Naam
Dwij Kaal Prachodit,
Utpatyeso Maha Birjo
Maha Buddhi Parakram”
Lord Kalki will incarnate in the house of a prominent Brahmin where Lord Vishnu is worshiped, His leelas (divine plays) are remembered frequently and where every occasion is celebrated as Lord Vishnu’s festival. Lord Kalki will incarnate with Ashtkala along with Mahabuddhi (Great Intelligence), and Mahaparkram( Great Courage).
“सम्भूत संभल ग्रामे
ब्रह्मणा बसती सुभे।“
“Sambhut Sambhal Grame
Brahmana Basti Subhe”
This means-
The Sambhut Sambal Village (Nabhi Gaya) of Orissa State is the new Sambhut Sambhal Village. In the history of Odisha, king Shri Jajati Keshari, hailing from the Som Vanshi dynasty, brought 10,000 brahmins from Kannauj (a place in Uttar Pradesh) to perform ten Ashwamedha Yagnas. A village for these Brahmins was established in the east of Maa Birija region (in Jajpur district of Odisha). Ved Vyas refers to this village as the ‘Sambhut Sambal’, in the above verse.
It is to be noted here that there is also a village named ‘Sambal’ in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh (a state in India). Thus, with reference to the above verses, it is inferred that Lord Kalki will be born in the new Sambal ie. Sambhut Sambal (Odisha) and not in the Sambal village of Uttar Pradesh.
The true meaning of the scriptures cannot be understood by making use of knowledge and intellectual thinking, but only by walking on the path of pure devotion.
