According to Yuga cycle first comes Satyayuga, second Tretayuga, third Dwaparayuga and finally Kaliyuga. At present, the entire Yuga of Kali Yuga is over and Yuga Sandhya is in progress. The end of any age and the beginning of a new age is called 'Yugasandhya' or 'Sangam Yuga'. Based on Manusmriti, the age of Kali Yuga is considered to be 4,32,000 years. But it is described that 4,27,200 years will be lost and only 4,800 years will have to be enjoyed due to gross sins committed by humans. According to Manusmriti the following verses give proof of this –

“Chatvaryajahu Sahasrani Varsanaan Tat Kritam Yugam Tasya Tavachhata Sandhya Sandhyashanshcha Tathavidha: “

The meaning of the above verse is – After four thousand years of Kali Yuga, Satya Yuga comes. That four thousand year Paramayu and its Sandhya and Sandhyamsa are hundred years. That is Age of Kali Yuga = 4000 years Two evenings at beginning and end = 400X2 = 800 years A total of 4,800 years is the duration of Kaliyuga.

In the course of time, one of the Panchasakhs, Brahma Gopal Mahapurush Achutananda Dasji Maharaj, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu's Paramaskha Sudamaji, changed the 4,800 years of the Kali Yuga or Bhoga period mentioned in the Manusmriti to 5,000 years as per the suggestion of Mahaprabhu Jagannath Ji.

"Chari Laksh Je Batish Sahastra, Kali Yuga and Aayush. The burden of sin is kali tuti jib, Five fathers-in-law Kali Bhog hoib."

In the line written above, Achutananda Dasji Maharaj says that - the age of Kali Yuga is 4,32,000 years. But due to the sins committed by man, his age will decay and he will have to suffer only 5 thousand years. Presently according to Maa Birja Panchang, Jagannath Panchang, Kohinoor Panchang etc. there are 5,125 years of Bhog from the beginning of Kali Yuga till date. This means that the Kali Yuga is completely over and we have entered the Sandhya Yuga or Sangam Yuga. That is why there is an urgent need for Bhavishi series texts for the welfare of human society in present times. Again Mahapurush Achutananda Das says in Bhavishi series that –

"Samsar Madhyare Kemant Janibe Nar Ange Deh Bahi Gat Agat Je Yuga R Bisbastha Samastanku Man"

(Shiva Kalpa Navkhand Nirghant) Mahapurush Achyutananda Dasji Maharaj has described in "Malika Granth" Shiv Kalpa Navkhand Nirghant that - Man will not be able to know the things related to Yuga Parivartan or the tribulations at its beginning and end due to being deluded by illusion and delusion. Even learned gentlemen will be misled and confused and will exaggerate during spiritual discussions that the Kaliyuga is in its infancy.

"Udayati: If Bhanu divides the western part, Bikashti if the Padma peaks. Prachalati if meru shito tapati banhi, nutlatit kadu bakya gentlemen perhaps."

ie -  In times to come the sun may rise in the west, the lotus may blossom on the mountain peak, Mount Meru may move from south to north, fire may cool or ice may heat, but neither the great man Achyutananda Das Ji nor any of the saints and sages mentioned in the series books can change the true voice.
