Some verses from Bhavishya Maalika written by Great Sage Sri Achyutananda Das Ji –
Devotees to Sri Bhagawan – O’ Lord, at the end of Kali Yug, how will we recognize you?
Thus, Lord answers through Great Sage Achyutananda Ji’s Maalika…
संसार मध्यरे केमन्त जानिबी नरअंगे देहबही।
गता गत जे जुगरे मिलन समस्तंक जणको नाही।।
Sansaar madhyarey kaymant jaanibee narangey dehbahi|
Gataa gat je jugarey milan samstank janko naahi||
Listen, due to limitations inherent within the human body, it is not easy to recognize the Lord of the Universes. You can only know HIM through personal experience. Great sage Achyutananda Ji writes more about this in his Maalika…
अनुभवे ज्ञान प्रकाश होइबो अनुभव करमह।
भविष्य विचार तेणकी कहिबी ज्ञाने नही तरपर।।
Anubhavey gyaan prakaash hoibo anubhav karmaha|
Bhavishya vichaar taynkee kahibee gyaaney nahi tarpar||
Meaning –
The devotees can experience God only through devotion (Bhakti). Only through their devotion will they get to know that Madhava Maha Prabhu is verily the Great Lord Madhusudana (Lord Vishnu). Additionally, great sage Achyutananda Ji writes in his Maalika that not everyone will be fortunate enough to come under Lord’s good graces.
Along with Lord’s incarnation, there will be deities themselves who will take physical form. However, the fortunate ones who will be able to accompany the Lord during his rule will be only those with accumulated past good karmas, ones who will be staunch in their quest to meet their Lord and obtain his grace, and those same devotees from Gau-Lok (Vaikuntha’s residents, Lord Vishnu’s abode) who take birth to herald the coming of the Lord all throughout the different ages. Only these fortunate people will be able to enjoy Lord’s grace and enjoy the cornucopia of benefits during the Golden period.
कोटि के गोटिये जाहन्ति सेरस तिरिसे सहस्त्र गणासही।
महिमा प्रकाश निश्चय रामदास आनेमो कोहून्ति नाही।।
Koti ke gotiye jaahanti sayras tirisey sahastra ganaasahi|
Mahima prakaash nishchaya Raamdas aaneymo kohunti naahi||
Meaning –
Out of a crowd of 10 million, only one devotee will have the staunch devotion and strength of faith enough to believe that the world’s savior Lord Sri Hari himself (Lord Vishnu) has taken physical form on this Earth. That devotee will have the gumption and determination to go seek the Lord besides facing the scorn of the nay-Sayers. Only those minor population of devotees will understand the gravity of the current times and seek asylum under Lord’s grace upon bestowal of which they will become eminently grateful. Only pure child-like devotion can take one to that state of being and allow oneself to experience Lord’s presence, nothing else.
