How is it related to Jagannath Culture?
Shri Sudama ji was the ‘Param Sakha’ (Best friend) of Shri Krishna in Dwapara Yuga. Shri Krishna once told him that “At the end of Kali Yuga, I will be born in Odisha as a normal human being. Because of the influence of Kali, everyone will see me as an ‘ordinary man’ (An Ordinary Person).
In Kaliyuga my devotees will see my powers directly only when the right time comes. First of all my devotees will not be able to understand where is God. When will Kali Yuga end? How will God incarnate? Therefore, Sudama ji, you should write a ‘Bhavishya Granth‘ about my birth in Kaliyuga and show the right path of Dharma to my Devotees.
Who is its Author?
Sudama Ji was born in Odisha under the name of the great man Achyutananda. These and five people like him are collectively called Panchasakha.
These Panchasakhas live with God at every age. In the golden age these were Narada, Markandeya, Garga, Swambhu and Kripacharya. In Treta Yuga, there were Nal, Neel, Jambavant, Shusen, and Hanumant. In the Dwapar era, there were Daam, Sudam, Subal, Subahu and Subhaksha. These Panchasakha were born in Kaliyuga as Achyutananda and the other four devotees.
In this era, according to the instructions of the Lord, the great man Achyutananda composed 1 lakh 85 thousand scriptures. And in those scriptures, he has written about the conditions of the world, of science, and of the economic and geographical conditions of India and other countries which are about to happen in today’s time and also in the future, about 600 years ago.
How will the work of Dharma Sansthan (establishment of Sanatan Dharma in the world), how will climate change at the end of Kali Yuga, who will rule India and other countries, who will work for Dharma Sansthan, and what will be the path of devotees to attain salvation, Where will Lord Vishnu incarnate at the end of Kali Yuga and many more. These scriptures are collectively called Bhavishya Malika. It is a collection of many other scriptures in itself. It contains a lot of information about Kalki Avatar and also a lot of information that has already happened in Odisha.

In Kaliyuga Narada was Shishunanta, in Kaliyuga Garga (from Satyuga) was Jaswant, in Kaliyuga Markandeya (from Satyuga) was Balarama Dasa and Mahapurush Achyutananda, who was with Lord Vishnu in the Dharmasansthapana in Satyayuga, was Kripajan.

In Dwapara Yuga there were Panchasakhas – Dam, Sudam, Subal, Subahu and Shribaksha. The names of the Panchasakhas in Kaliyuga are Achyuta, Ananta, Jaswant, Jagannath Das and Balaram Das.
How is it related to Jagannath Culture?
The practice of Jagannath culture in Odisha dates back to ancient times. Keep in mind the fact that the idol of Jagannath ji is an idol of Daru Brahma and the soul of Lord Krishna resides in it. Hence Jagannath Kshetra is also called Martya Baikuntha. Now since all these Panchaskhas were born in Orissa and were followers of Jagannath culture, they composed their texts in Odia, so their future Malika Granth includes Jagannath culture.
